What this website does — and does not do

This website consists of static files. It uses no cookies, analytics or advertising services and loads no fonts, scripts or content from third parties. There are no contact forms or user accounts.

Display preferences

Your choices for light or dark mode and text-only view are saved in your browser’s local storage. These settings are not sent to the server and are not used for tracking. You can remove them by clearing this website’s data in your browser.

Server logs

This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When you visit, the web server records data required for technical operation: the requested address, date and time, amount of data transferred, browser and operating system identifiers, and IP address. The hosting provider uses these logs to operate the site securely and deletes them under its retention rules. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: my legitimate interest in reliable website operation. A data processing agreement is in place with STRATO.

Contacting me

If you email or call me, I use your information only to respond to your enquiry, under Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. I do not pass it on and delete it once the matter is resolved, unless a retention obligation applies.

Your rights

You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection under Articles 15–21 GDPR. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Thuringia, this is the Thuringian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
